The fourth fish fry was an excellent success. A great many posted pics on southern wall left the building for a great home. I like the feeling of giving when the receiving folks smile. I can see this. When we watch our children open their Christmas Gifts we gets a small boost of enjoyment for each child's smiles of enjoyment.
The fifth Fish Fry will be the last fish fry of which you can get your last week pics. The sixth and last Fish fry of 2023 pics will be posted on February 16, 2024.
Lesson this week is about gifting. I lived in Thailand for 17 months. I learn that to refuse a gift is an insult. Never ever refuse a gift for the giver will feel sad and rejected. Take the gift no matter how much you dislike it. It is a gift so take it, smile, and say thank you, Later if you don't like it, then re-gift, salvation army it or wait some then dumpster it. The receiver needs to show acceptance with the giver's acknowledgement. This is why we place our children's art on our refrigerator, this is why we need to accept any gift from others.
