Peg and I took off for a bus tour of Costa Rica. It was great adventure and pretty much safe. I took a bunch of pictures and some are below, but most can be found at Walgreens Photo site. We had a great time in Costa Rica. Both Clarence our guide and Cholo our drivere did an excellent job. I need to writer them a ata boy letter to Caravan's Chicago office. It was nice be bussed around in comfort and safety.
Some pics are from our three days in San Jose prior to the tour starting. Well here are some things I learned. Universal water/drink temperature of Costa Rica is tepid, pedestrians have no right of way, rice and beans are the food of choice for every meal, buffets will never be the same, the people are helpful, friendly and lovable, many speak English or can understand hand and sign language, crocodiles can eat humans, monkeys and racoons will steal your bags, Coco island is a great place for diving with many others, Costa Rica is the land of beautiful beaches and rain forests, many friends can be found in Costa Rica. Over time they may squeeze you, e.g., if you use a lot of space or space becomes limited. Well it's been fun, back to sitting and planning our next trip. We volunteered to be bumped from Spirit so we got a free round trip ticket to be used in one year. Where should we go?
