A good friend has cancer. Should I let him die, help him die, convince him to live? Death is among us and we still play and smile. And why not? Life is too short or too simple to let any day go buy without a laugh or a good meal. Being a nurse has added a coldness to me. That when death comes to my resident I let them go with little grief or feelings for there are many. I have found prayer for them and me the best medicine. But this is not so with my friends and family for I tear up and cry. I demand to know why? I must compose myself and carry one. My God does love me for I have hope, faith, and trust in him. Our adventure still awaits, both in this life and the after. So you too must carry on. Keep those words close for hope, faith and trust will support. The older I get, the closer to God I become, this to be true with you.
