Seventh(Good Friday) Fish Fry at St Jerome's Parish, Walbridge, Ohio

That was fast, those seven weeks of Lent. I did not give much up for lent. I work as a nurse and my time is just spent too fast. Of course some STNAs think that passing medications are easy enough while some politicians believe we have time to play cards. But no, we run all night long, attempting to get it all done. We spend our time serving others who can not or will not take care of themselves. Those who doubt our dedication and work ethics will soon find out how much we do. Time is not anyone's friend or should I say time catches everyone.

Some of you still refuse to take care of yourself. Habits acquired are hard to loose. But your God can help, he can promised you to help you loose weight, stop smoking, eat well, exercise, love others and most of all love yourself. All you got to do is ask. It is not hard, just a prayer or two, maybe write it all down in a journal, a list of thinks to make one better. Study it, make detailed action plans. Watch, with God's help, in seeing your goals accomplished. You can ask others for help. I call help by others the God factor. Ask him via some else and you shall receive. I like that the universal answer being "yes", but you got to get up the nerve and ask, if no then ask again with a please, if still no ask someone else. This works well with food, money, jobs, new car, school projects, taking exams, girlfriends and even boyfriends. So ask and you too shall receive. Be careful with what you ask, for every goal accomplished comes responsibilities.
